Our Maize Maze is back!
Can you guess this years theme?
Our award-winning Maize Maze returns to The Secret Garden from Saturday 18th July, and this year’s theme is one worth celebrating…
But that’s not the only surprise. This year, our Maize Maze has made a move! Follow your way through The Secret Garden to find it, then step inside for a summer adventure full of twists, turns and clues to uncover.
There are three mazes to explore, including our giant Maize Maze, where you’ll need to find all ten markers, collect the letters and reveal our hidden message.
For little explorers, our two mini mazes are back too – the Music Maze, with a few new additions, and our Finger Painting Maze.
Your ticket also includes access to all The Secret Garden activities, making it the perfect summer day out for all you curious explorers!

General FAQ’s
- Last entry is at 2:30pm, the garden gate closes at 4:30pm daily.
- Free car parking is available and our outdoor Farmer’s Den play area (suitable for U10’s) is free for customers to use.
- Under 16’s must be supervised by an adult at all times whilst in The Secret Garden.
- We advise wearing suitable footwear (closed toe and wellies if it’s been raining).
- Don’t forget protection from the sun on hot days.
- Dogs are not permitted in The Secret Garden, within the farm shop or main cafe however, dogs are welcome in our coffee lounge and outdoor cafe courtyard.
- As the maize is in a field which is harvested and replanted each year, the pathways are soil and can therefore be tricky to access with wheelchairs and pushchairs, particularly if the weather has been wet. Having said that, plenty of customers have got around without a problem and the pathways do become more compact throughout the season.
- In the event of bad weather we may be forced to close certain aspects of the attraction.
- In the event that we are forced to close the attraction entirely, pre-booked tickets can be re-arranged or refunded. Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds and re-arrangements in any other circumstance.
- Our cafe serves breakfast, lunch and coffee and cakes with no need to book. Our farm shop and butchery are well worth a visit, well stocked with delicious home made and locally sourced food and drinks – everything from meat, veg, bread and store cupboard essentials to beers, gin, sweets and chocolate! Cards, gifts and souvenirs are also available.
