Sid the Squirrel needs you! The Evil Crone and her Fiendish Friends are up to no good! Can you help?

Throughout October, our giant Maize Maze is taken over by the evil Crone and her Frightful friends.  Sid the Squirrels irate comrades have come to do some pumpkin picking but we can’t find them?!  There are whispers that the evil crone has something to do with their disappearance but with a maze full of monsters, each with a spooky task to complete, we’re too scared to go look.  Sid has gone in but we haven’t heard from him since!   Can you help us save the Pirates and find Sid? Head round the maze and complete the tasks set for you by the monsters to discover the magic phrase that will save the pirates.  But be sure to find Sid too,  he’s somewhere in that Maze!

For littler legs, we have our two spooky mini mazes to complete.

Pumpkin picking!

All tickets include entry to our Pumpkin Patch where you can pick your own pumpkins and carve on site if you wish, leaving us with the ghastly insides! Pay for what you pick, price is dependent on size! Find out more here

Monster High

This Halloween our woodland has been taken over the Mad Professors from Monsters High! Have you got what it takes to complete the nine classes which range from “The Skelly Wiggle” with Dance Teacher, Mr Perriwinkle to “The Screaming Symphonies” with Music Professor Ms. Fontaine?! If you are lucky enough to reach Graduation, run along into the moonlight and collect your certificate!

General FAQ’s

• Last entry is at 2pm for full day tickets, the garden gate closes at 5pm daily.
• Free car parking is available and our outdoor Farmer’s Den play area (suitable for U10’s) is free for customers to use.
• Under 16’s must be supervised by an adult at all times whilst Behind the Garden Wall.
• We advise wearing suitable footwear (closed toe and wellies if it’s been raining).
• In the event of wet weather, the jumping pillow and Maze bridge may be closed.
• In the event of extremely wet weather, the event may be closed – any pre booked ticket holders will be notified and offered an alternative date or refund. Any closures will be advertised on our social media in the morning by 9:30am.
• Dogs are not permitted Behind the Garden Wall including the maize mazes or pumpkin patch, within the farm shop or main cafe however, dogs are welcome in our coffee lounge and outdoor cafe courtyard.
• As the maize is in a field which is harvested and replanted each year, the pathways are soil and can therefore be tricky to access with wheelchairs and pushchairs, particularly if the weather has been wet. Having said that, plenty of customers have got around without a problem and the pathways do become more compact throughout the season.
• Our cafe serves breakfast, lunch and coffee and cakes with no need to book. Our farm shop and butchery are well worth a visit, well stocked with delicious home made and locally sourced food and drinks – everything from meat, veg, bread and store cupboard essentials to beers, gin, sweets and chocolate! Cards, gifts and souvenirs are also available.
